The Process of Dissolving the State Electricity Company (PLN) Coal Begins!
PT PLN (Persero) is in the process of dissolving its subsidiary PT PLN Batubara. This subsidiary was in the spotlight when PLN had difficulty getting coal supplies. PLN President Director Darmawan Prasodjo said his party would start processing the disbandment in accordance with applicable regulations.
"We are in the process of how to make the dissolution of PLNBB in accordance with the Limited Liability Company Law, especially regarding the dissolution of the company," he said in a hearing (RDP) Commission VII. "On input from Commission VII, PLN is in the process of discontinuing PLNBB operations," he said. He also said that PLN was conducting a thorough audit. Also, in the stage of transferring coal contracts from PLN Batubara to PLN. "The steps that PLN is taking are conducting a comprehensive audit, transferring the PLNBB coal contract to being centralized in PLN," he said.
