SUN Energy and Sojitz Promote PLTS Project in Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) Industrial Estate

Considering that operational activities in industrial estates that move 24 hours require a stable supply of electrical energy, the fulfillment of the energy mix target can be significantly assisted if the electricity source is generated from NRE.
"Industrial areas, especially those with business areas, have an obligation to change primary energy sources for electricity generation in order to realize a green energy transition," said Fabby Tumiwa, Chairperson of the Indonesian Solar Energy Association (AESI) in a press statement. SUN Energy is pleased to announce that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with PT Sojitz Indonesia, part of the Sojitz Corporation group. SUN Energy and Sojitz Indonesia (Sojitz) will develop a Solar Power Plant (PLTS) project in companies located in the Greenland International Industrial Center (GIIC) Industrial Estate, a modern industrial area in Kota Deltamas, Cikarang, West Java. This synergy demonstrates Sojitz's contribution to building an environmentally friendly industrial area that is committed to nature conservation through the use of new and renewable energy as an alternative energy source.
