Eradicate Extreme Poverty, Central Java Governor Encourages Mutual Cooperation

Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo encourages mutual cooperation to eradicate extreme poverty. According to him, eradicating extreme poverty is not enough and will not be completed if it is only in the form of assistance from the regional and provincial government budgets.
To that end, Ganjar emphasized the spirit of gotong royong in handling extreme poverty in Central Java. "The pattern of cooperation with the involvement of BUMN, BUMD, the private sector, Baznas, residents also helps. Those who work together are sincere, in my opinion, part of the spirit of gotong royong to build this. So it's not just the district and provincial budgets, but this will not be completed at any time," he said, as quoted from a written statement received. Ganjar visited Grandmother Darsih's house in Cilongok District, Kebumen. Darsih expressed his gratitude for being assisted in house repairs. Darsih is one of the beneficiary families (KPM) who fall into the category of extreme poverty. The assistance he received was the Healthy Home for Living (RSLH). Apart from Darsih, there are a total of three housing units in Cilongok District which received similar assistance from the Central Java Provincial Government. Ganjar also visited Mbah Rimpen's house in Pekuncen District, Kebumen Regency. Mbah Rimpen received latrine and RTLH assistance from the Central Java Provincial Government and Sinar Mas Group CSR support.
