Bambang Brodjonegoro Gets Astra Commissioner Chair
The Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) of PT Astra International Tbk decided to appoint Bambang Brodjonegoro as the company's Independent Commissioner.
Currently, the former Minister of Research and Technology also serves as President Commissioner of PT Telkom (Persero) Tbk. "Appointed Mr. Bambang Brodjonegoro as Independent Commissioner as of the closing of this meeting for a term of office as determined by the articles of association," the decision said. Meanwhile, the company's board of commissioners consists of 10 people consisting of President Commissioner, Prijono Sugiarto, Independent Commissioner Sri Indrastuti Hadiputranto, Commissioner Independent Rahmat Waluyanto, Independent Commissioner Apinont Suchewaboripont, Independent Commissioner Bambang Brodjonegoro. Commissioner Anthony John Liddell Nightingale, Commissioner Benjamin William Keswick, Commissioner John Raymond Witt, Commissioner Stephen Patrick Gore, and Commissioner Benjamin Birks. "As of the closing of this meeting until the 2023 Annual GMS. Except, John Raymond Witt and Stephen Patrick Gore which are valid until the 2022 Annual GMS and Bambang Brodjonegoro until the 2024 Annual GMS," explained the decision.
